“My pictures capture the reality of my inner pictures. They express what my eye sees, which is continuously moving in the surrounding space. They show things as a connection between space and time. I expose for a long time to make time visible. During this exposure time something changes, something that cannot be seen with the naked eye, but can be felt. Things become visible behind things, the space around things becomes visible and with that I create a connection to my very own reality, my imagination. Blurring, caused by the movement of things and the camera, creates a tension between the ‘documentary’ camera and painting. Space is created for your own imagination.”
